Psychic Images vs. Mediumship Images: What’s the Difference?


If you’ve ever wondered how images come through during a psychic or mediumship reading, you’re not alone. As a professional medium, I often hear people say, “I saw something, but I don’t know if it was psychic or from spirit.” Let’s clear that up.


Psychic Images: Tuning Into Energy Around You

Psychic images come from reading the energy of the person you’re working with. These impressions can show up as symbols, scenes, colors, or even emotional flashes. You’re tapping into their current energy, past, or possible future. Think of it as reading someone’s aura or energetic field—like a mirror of what they carry.


Mediumship Images: Communication from Spirit

Mediumship images, on the other hand, are given to you from spirit. These visuals are often stronger, more distinct, and carry emotional resonance. You’re not reading the sitter’s energy—you’re receiving direct communication from a spirit being. It might be a passed loved one, guide, or even a symbolic messenger.


So How Can You Tell the Difference?

One of the key ways to tell is where you feel the information coming from.
